Winter Fishing And HikingA In Montana

Hello Folks,
this week I shall take to my favorite fishing spot along the Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley, Montana, and then a hike in the Bridger Mountain Range outside of Bozeman, Montana.
It has been a good winter with the snow coming and going and it plays easy upon my old wore out knees and back. Enjoy!

A Bald Eagle soars above the Yellowstone River with the Absaroka-Beartooth Range in the backdrop.

The path into my favorite fishing spot. Follow me with this quicktime below.

I was not the only one out on the river. We have a fellow fly fishing with rubber pants and another guy fishing off a drift boat. No motors are allowed upon the Yellowstone River keeping it pristine.

The fruits of my labor: A large rainbow trout. I usually pick up the lemon and do
all the cleaning and the little wife does the dressing for this fine eating.

My trail was a little steep and icy at points. Not for the squeamish!

This is the entrance to the trailhead... would not want anybody to go
onto private property now would you?

An Alpaca on a ranch nearby the trail.
